Wheelchairs are really hard to draw.
As hard as cars! No, harder, because I have even less practice at it.
…It doesn’t help that I decided to start with not just any wheelchair, but a mermaid wheechair that is actually a fishbowl.

Practically gave myself a heart attack by packing...
I was panicking, because who knows if they actually sell just the cord separate from the tablet! This thing is practically brand new, too!
(Turns out they DO sell it separately, but I doubt I’d love long enough for it to be delivered. I shrivel up like a prune if I can’t do digital art for more than a day.)

CRAP I don’t have any decent drawing paper and it’s 2am! I won’t be able to make a good fanart for Ryoko Ikeda!
If I can, I will try to at least thank her for being such a huge inspiration. And maybe show her some pictures of Sister Marie/Rosalie and Sister Oscar. XD

Today was pretty great
I met a bunch of head honchos of the French comic industry, and showed them my portfolio/comic art- and a lot of them gave me their cards and want to see more, particularly of Nightingale!
HEAR THAT, INGRID!? They want to see some actual comic pages! So let’s give ‘em what they want! (P.S. if you are still online, WE NEED TO SKYPE ASAP)

Oh god. Do not even get me started again on Takeuchi and her lack of variance in body-types. Children should not have cup-sizes like that.
EDIT: And yes, I know Chibi-Usa is technically 300~900+ years old (depending on your translation and media-format choice), but this isn’t just and issue with her....

But MAN what a tiring last couple days it’s been! I had kind of a huge problem with the trains yesterday which forced me to go all the way back home from London (wasting 6 hours, and essentially costing me an entire day of my precious Angouleme festival days!)
Then I did the whole journey again, and 3 trains + 6 transfers later I am FINALLY HERE IN ANGOULEME.
Oh, it is so wondeful to be...
The meeting I’d been highly anticipating (and getting a bit anxious about) has been postponed till next month. I am both relieved and sad.
