I don’t think it’s an insult to be mistaken for *trans.  And I think it’s terrible that trans* fans are seeing these comments to me and feeling like it’s a personal attack to them too.

I think Bronies got the idea I am MtF because they can’t conceive of cis female fans in their fandom, or maybe because I’ve listed myself as “Other” on my Deviantart page. Those who use that slur on me are very insecure in their masculinity, hence having to shove “BRO!!!” into their title and trying to desperately to make their OC’s grimdark and EDGY to show how NOTGIRLY! they are.

I’ve seen Bronies debating what my anatomy looks like on anon forums, what they’d like to do with it.  It’s kind of like stumbling across a little tent fort of curious pre-teen boys trying to sound macho.  The unknown both intrigues and terrifies them.  Yamino is a scary, sexy mystery.
