Sweet deal!
Sure! I’m going to look into exactly how much it would cost to buy and ship the comics internationally, and then I can make a more detailed post about how to request a signed cover. You can preorder the comic online, and I will make sure to sign them! =)
P.S. a limited number of comics with my Adventure Time cover will also be on sale at Chapel Hill comics:

If they don’t sell out, I’d be glad to mail some signed copies of that out as well!

Remember a couple weeks ago I said I had an awesome surprise? This is it!
I did an exclusive MLP comic cover for Chapel Hill comics, and they are holding a release party where I’ll be signing copies (and hopefully also have some copies of my own Sister Claire book!) Click the link below to find out more information:
Saturday, July 6: My Little Pony: Pinkie Pie signing with cover artist Elena “Yamino” Barbarich!
P.S. This cover is going to SPARKLE! I’m so excited, this is the first time any of my work got the glitter treatment. <3
I know some friends who are into customizing (re-painting, resculpting, etc) Monster high dolls, but is there some kind of hub for custom Novi Stars? (or maybe doll customizing/repainting in general?)
I have some limited practice with customizing MLP toys, which was pretty fun. I’d be interested in trying some others.
I really like the idea of the Novi Stars, but the dolls themselves look pretty cheap. I think I actually like their flashy packaging more than the dolls themselves, to be honest.
Does anyone know some cool Tumblr communities for doll/toy customizing?

For those unfamiliar, Equestria Girls is an upcoming spin-off series. You can read the original entry on it here.
The New York Times released on article on Hasbro which includes a segment on My Little Pony and Equestria Girls. They also released some final concept art of the human girls, seen below.
From the article:
Hasbro has used its multiplatform, multigenerational strategy as a template for other brands, including My Little Pony, a 30-year-old property for girls ages 3 and up. In 2010, the company revamped the brand with a television series called “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.”
The series attracted legions of adult fans to the My Little Pony franchise. They obsessed about the characters in fan-generated fiction, artwork and videos. Adult male fans, who call themselves Bronies, even bought ad time on the Hub, a cable television channel co-owned by Hasbro, to thank the company for producing the show.
In response, Hasbro expanded My Little Pony as a lifestyle brand, with 200 licenses in 15 categories, including publishing, apparel, bedding and digital gaming. To celebrate the brand’s 30th anniversary this year, the company plans to introduce a new extension this fall called Equestria Girls.
But adult fans have also pushed to take more control of the brand, creating unauthorized digital games and plush toys that company executives eventually quashed.
“They don’t mind having this fan base, but they can’t forget their core market,” said Jim Silver, editor in chief of timetoplaymag.com, which covers the toy industry. “These are waters you have to navigate very carefully.”You can read the full article, which delves into some of Hasbro’s other product lines, here.

It looks like a pony version of Monster High. I really don’t like these uniform super thin designs. =(
Some Alicorn!Trixie and Alicorn Twilight sketchdumps. I started a comic about Trixie’s reaction to Twilight’s winged upgrade, but it got reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally long and I don’t know if I’ll ever get around to inking it properly. I wish I was better at writing fanfic, some of my ideas are just too long for short, casual comics!
I’m sorry but the pony is adorable.
Ahhh! This is so cute, thank you! <8’D
I’m still not sure how to refer to her. The Mare You Know? lol
This was a great episode, and I didn’t even notice the appearance Bronies are gloating about, and I was actually looking for it. It was that insignificant.
How sad their lives must be that despite being completely obsessed with a show about love, friendship, respect, and pony princesses, they simply cannot internalize any of those values and are instead dead-set on trying to turn it into something ugly and hateful. The more I think about it, the more sorry I feel for them. The answer to their insecurity and despair is right in front of their faces and they can’t take the hint.
Look at your life, look at your choices, hateful Bronies. Maybe there’s still a chance to save yourselves.
