Do you think you'll ever update SugarlessGum again? Or any time soon-ish? Just wondering c:
If I update it again, it won’t be anytime soon. I’m very busy setting up my Sister Claire book for print, and making all the artwork for the incentive items/cover/etc. And once that is done (around March) I will be trying to up my work schedule to put out more comic pages per week, which won’t leave me much free time for an ask blog.
It would be different if I was making money off Sugarless Gum, but for the forseeable future I can’t justify spending so much time on unpaid work. If only I didn’t need to eat, sleep, or pay rent, that would solve so many of my problems.
Have you ever had Christians or Catholics get offended by your comic and/or send you hate because of it? I know a good majority of christians/catholic people are rational and really okay in general, but there's always that loud minority of whack jobs around.
I love you, you're my biggest inspiration as an artist ;_; Thank you for giving us Sister Claire and please have an amazing day!
Aren’t you as sweet as pie! Thank you, I hope you have a marvelous day as well. =)
have you ever considered taking up knitting?
No, I’ve never considered it. I know I don’t have nearly the time, patience or skill for it. I’m also not a big fan of knit material, something about the texture and all these little holes in it makes me uneasy.
I have been taking little baby steps to learn how to sew, though. The machine still freaks me out.
That is an arctic fox by the look of it! Seems the darling is inbetween its summer and winter coats as well. :3
Oh, cool! I’ve never seen a picture of an Arctic Fox with anything but a pure white coat. It makes sense they’d have to change colors for the snow. XD
Thanks for reblogging all my Namesake kickstarter posts... I feel so loved! <3
You are loved! And so is your comic! Congrats on having such an enthusiastic reception to your Kickstarter. I never doubted your comic would be quite popular. <3

Is namesake a webcomic?... if it's... where i can read it? sounds so good D:
Yes, it’s a comic, and you can read it at http://namesakecomic.com/! The creators are running a Kickstarter right now to fund printing of the second book.
While you’re at it, you may want to check out the rest of the comics in Hiveworks! It’s the comic collective that includes my own comic “Sister Claire,” Chloe C.’s “Go Get a Roomie,” and several other quality comics!
I got 2 mice of my very own and oh my gosh they're so fun to play with / watch!
They are! I like having their enclosures on my desk when I work, they keep me company. Most mice you get from pet stores aren’t used to being handled often and may run when you try to pick them up, but mine sometimes come into my hand on their own now. =)
You know they feel calm and safe in your hands if they start preening themselves. Mine do that more and more lately, and it’s so cute to watch. ;-; <3
What are you gonna do with the baby mice? If you keep em, that'd be a lot of mice... O_o and I hate to bring it up, but what if there are uh, problems... with them? You'll be okay right?
We’ve got the space and the equipment to comfortable house plenty more mice. We’re going to keep some, and sell the rest as pets. They’ll be easy to rehome because they’ll all be very tame satin mice. (Their parents are both very chill, but I’ll also be handling the babies often to get them used to human interaction.) Don’t worry, Ash has bred mice for years and knows exactly what to do in pretty much any scenario.
Of course if any of the babies are sick or die or need to be culled I will be very sad. Unfortunately, mice tend to produce way more babies than they can actually feed, because in the wild most of them don’t survive. But if I wait any longer to breed them, the mice will be too old and it would be unhealthy. Mice unfortunately don’t live more than 1-2 years, so by breeding them now I’ll be sure to still have their babies around after my current mice pass away. ;-;
Okay, I'm curious; where are you located where something with an engine smaller than 50cc would be illegal? Also, your taste in scooters is incredible.
Oh, higher than 50cc is not illegal here, but I just don’t have a driver’s license yet. I’d be allowed to drive a 50cc moped, though. For some reason they count them as something more like a bike than a motorcycle. Also, thank you!
