Working on some concept art. This was a warmup, not necessarily final art for anyone- I just decided to take some of these historical costume books and try to “nunnify” some of them.

I just had a thought- what if the races in SKU were switched, and Anthy and Akio were the only non-Indians? And if the style was all traditional Indian, rather than based on European military fashion?

I was asked to help with a fetish fashion show at Fallout, a local goth club. I love PVC as a material so I decided to make Luka’s military uniform out of it, figuring a PVC military uniform was appropriate for the show. It was a bad-ass experience strutting down a runway in giant stiletto thigh high boots to industrial music in this outfit.
The uniform & skirt are all PVC, except for the trim & embellishments. The gloves are vintage white leather driving gloves (vintage gloves are the only gloves that fit my small hands T_T) The costume is based off of this artwork: http://bit.ly/m0m9uZ

The thing is, I really don’t think I’m cut out for writing/drawing porn.
Because if I drew it, it would be a huge joke. I just can’t take anything seriously, especially not sex. Would that still be acceptable on Filthy Figments? A comedy porn? Because that’s what it would end up as.

More info about the Navy WAVES of WWII
“After a twenty-three-year absence, women returned to general Navy service in early August 1942, when Mildred McAfee was sworn in as a Naval Reserve Lieutenant Commander, the first female commissioned officer in U.S. Navy history, and the first Director of the WAVES, or“Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service”. In the decades since the last of the Yeomen (F) left active duty, only a relatively small corps of Navy Nurses represented their gender in the Naval service, and they had never had formal officer status.
Now, the Navy was preparing to accept not just a large number of enlisted women, as it had done during World War I, but female Commissioned Officers to supervise them. It was a development of lasting significance, notwithstanding the WAVES’ name, which indicated that they would only be around during the wartime “Emergency”.

There’s only one woman in the entire book, which sucks.
As these are mostly for inspiration and not direct reference, I’m sure I can come up with more “feminine” versions of most of these uniforms if needed. Still, I really wish there was a visual encyclopedia of women in uniform, from WW2 and onward.
