Some concept art from Sister Claire’s favorite lifestyle brand, “Holy Kitty.”  Thinking of naming them “Crucible” and “Crucifix.” Although their designs closely resemble “Hello Kitty” and “Chocolat”, their design as a pair was more inspired by “Kuromi” (my personal favorite Sanrio character) and “My Melody”.  The pentagram star on Crucible’s head was inspired by Luna’s moon from “Sailor Moon.”

The company name was suggested by FallingIvy, it’s an anagram of the word “savior”.

Fem!Garterbelt  by ~SakuraMikage

Series: Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt

Yess! I’ve been waiting for someone to cosplay fem!Garterbelt as a nun rather than a female priest.  It’s hard to pull off a nun costume without the iconic wimple, but there are always exceptions.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN PRE-FALL 2013

Sarah Burton spoke of  researching “the low church, puritans, nuns, and popes” for the collection.

Brilliant!

Before I even scrolled to the bottom and read the description I thought “Hey, this looks like the kind of outfits I was designing for my nuns….OH.” XD <3

That looks like my kinda board game

I wasn’t going to play Arkham Horror because I need to draw comics, but then they were like, “But who will play the Nun?”

So I’m drawing nun comics while playing a sneaky clue-collecting nun. I also saw some nuns at the farmer’s market today. It’s been a nunny kind of day

I had originally intended this as a Christmas post, but I was away for the holidays and forgot to bring my tablet pen.

A snapshot of happier times.  This must have taken place before Claire and her fellowship (sistership?) ran away.  It’s been a long time since I drew Catharine looking healthy and unscathed.  I almost forgot what she looked like that way! XD

For new followers, “Sister Claire” is my webcomic series, all free to read online at http://www.sisterclaire.com/.  The first book is coming out soon! =)
